Great Live Band!

Amazing live concert from a very under-appreciated band. Jim James is a unique vocalist and songwriter who leads his band through a quite dynamic show. The night was full of memorable moments as the group ran through song after song without much audience banter. Around the 4th or 5th song of the night, the band members all gathered at the front of the drum riser and locked in tight to finish a jam. From that moment on, they were like a well-oil machine, creating stellar sonic textures while playing with incredible feel and energy. If you are even a casual listener of My Morning Jacket you should check them out live. They are even better in concert than on their studio recordings.
